Why This Page Exists

Families dealing with the federal prison system are often scared, overwhelmed, and searching for answers during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Some prison consultants and advocacy providers offer honest support. Others may use pressure tactics, vague promises, or unrealistic expectations while charging families thousands of dollars.

People have reported hearing statements like:

  • “We can help get more time off your sentence.”
  • “We can get you into RDAP.”
  • “We know how to get you home faster.”
  • “We have connections nobody else has.”
  • “We can help with clemency, a pardon, or a commutation.”

The goal is transparency, accountability, and consumer awareness.

Who Can Share a Story?

  • Former clients
  • Family members of clients
  • Loved ones of someone in custody
  • People who paid for services
  • People who believe they were misled
  • People who had positive experiences

This page is not limited to one company or one individual. It exists to collect experiences involving prison consultants, advocacy groups, sentence reduction services, clemency services, RDAP services, and related providers.

Recent public conversations and complaints have included names such as Federal Prison Tips, Kyle Sandler, Jeffrey Henson, The Legal Advocacy Center, and other prison consulting providers.
